Allstate Notary Preparation offers live 3-hour and 6-hour notary public seminars in the San Diego area on the dates listed below. The official California Notary Public exam is administered by CPS Human Resource Services following each seminar. Seminar and exam walk-ins are Welcome on a space-available basis.

Please be at the class by 8:40am. DO NOT BE LATE as late arrivals cannot be issued a proof of completion certificate.

NOTARY EXAM MATERIALS
A completed current Notary Public Application form and fail letter if you are re-taking the exam. Valid Photo identification (current or issued within the last 5 years) A Driver’s license or state DMV ID card A Canadian or Mexican driver’s license US Passport or passport issued by a foreign government US Military ID card 2 x 2 color passport photograph Check, money order or cashiers check for the appropriate fee (see below) made payable to the Secretary of State, with the candidates name and last four digits of the Social Security number written on it. Two sharpened #2 lead pencils. For online course and self-study course users: Notary course Certificate of Completion. Those attending the seminar will be issued a Certificate of Completion at the end of the seminar. PLEASE NOTE:You may take the state exam even if you do not have a certificate of completion for the required 6-hour or 3-hour educational course. If you take the state exam without presenting a proof of completon certificate, the state will simply return your application with a letter advising that you must ubmit the proof of completion certificate in order for your application to be processed.
NOTARY EXAM FEES
$40 for new applicants and reappointments $20 for applicants who have previously taken the exam and failed Note: Each candidate must have a separate check or money order. Fees payable to the Secretary of State are non-refundable. Notary course fees paid to Allstate Notary Preparation do not include state exam fees payable to the Secretary of State.
