All new notaries must take a 6-hour course. On-time renewing notaries may take the 3-hour or 6-hour courses. To be eligible for the 3-hour course, a renewing notary must complete the course and take the state exam before his current California notary public commission expires. 

After you register for the online class, a link to the online course material will be provided in your payment confirmation.

The state exam is administered immediately following our live notary classes.  Online course participants may attend the exam if there are seats available.  Space is currently very limited due to COVID 19 social distancing requirements.  First come, first serve.

The state exam must be taken in person.
