Notary Classes

Allstate Notary Preparation can help you prepare for the California Notary Public exam and learn the skills you need to begin or advance your notary career. All of our notary classes are approved by the California Secretary of State and fulfill the mandatory education requirement for new and renewing California notaries public.

$ 45 - 3-hour or 6-hour online notary course
$ 99 - 3-hour or 6-hour live notary class and passport photo
$165 - 3-hour or 6-hour live notary class, passport photo and live scan fingerprinting

Add notary supplies to any order! Required supplies: $15,000 bond, notary seal, notary journal, thumbprint pad. Notary errors and omissions (E&O) insurance is optional, but recommended.

Live Notary Class

Online Notary Course

All of our courses have 3-hour and 6-hour options. The pricing is the same for both the 3-hour and 6-hour options.

All new notaries must take a 6-hour course. On-time renewing notaries may take the 3-hour or 6-hour courses. To be eligible for the 3-hour course, a renewing notary must complete the course and take the state exam before his current California notary public commission expires.

Live class purchase includes access to the online course study material so you are able to study before you come to class.

Passport photographs and live scan fingerprinting are done at the class. Live scan fingerprinting is required for all new and renewing notaries.

Our live classes are in San Diego only. If you are taking a live class, select the LIVE NOTARY CLASS option and then you will be able to select the class date, fingerprinting and supplies options.

All of the live classes in San Diego are held at the Days Inn Hotel in Mission Valley, 543 Hotel Circle South, SD 92108. The state exam is administered by CPS HR Consulting (formerly Cooperative Personnel Services) immediately following each live class. An email confirmation with the class details will be sent to you.
